Technology makes the world go round – or so it feels. In my role as Vice President of Sales Operations, I lead a team serving corporate and agency customers through many technology avenues. From our on-call service support desk, to our SalesLink Insights and portal reporting tools, our goal is to support you with information and tools to plan travel ahead of time, and offer real-time assistance when you need us.

In this issue of Navigator, you’ll learn how American Airlines is making moves to continue as an industry leader in the technology space. We now offer live TV onboard internationally and on a growing number of domestic aircraft. This year we’re rolling out Corporate and Agency Portals – unique, one-of-a-kind reporting tools – tailored to customers like you. Download the American Airlines app, and you’ll find many features that will enhance your travel experience – like Track Your Bags, to monitor the location of your bags, or free inflight entertainment streaming, to enjoy movies inflight. We also remain committed to making the world a better place by serving our communities; you can learn more about our partnership with ECPAT in the fight against human trafficking.

Today, American Airlines maintains a strong leadership position in the global airline industry, and we’re diligently working toward our goal of becoming the easiest airline for customers to do business with.
